PAYMENT OPTIONS:

We offer the following payment options:

EFT - We offer both Instant EFT and traditional EFT.
If you would prefer to pay for your products via traditional EFT (not instant) you will receive an email from us with our banking details. Once you have made payment, please forward your proof of payment to Caitlin@eclecticmagpie.co.za using your ORDER NUMBER and SURNAME as reference

Payfast - What is PayFast? PayFast is a payments processing service for South Africans and South African websites. Payfast enables easy, secure and instant transfer of money from online buyers to sellers. Payfast allows sellers (individuals, businesses and charities) to accept secure payments from online buyers in a variety of ways. **Please note there is no charge to the buyer when using PayFast.

To pay using PayFast, simply select “Instant EFT/Credit Card” as your payment method during the checkout process. You will be redirected to the very secure PayFast payment gateway where you can create a quick account with them (or log in if you already have one) and make your payment. Your payment will be instantly confirmed and you will be automatically be redirected to the Eclectic Magpie website, where your order will be confirmed.

DELIVERY AND TURN AROUND TIMES:

Turn Around Times

All goods in stock will be shipped within 2 working days of receiving payment. Thereafter, delivery of your package will take 2-3 working days (outlying areas may take 3-5 days).

If you are interested in an item that is currently out of stock, please feel free to contact us to find out when we are expecting our next delivery.

Delivery:

We deliver nationwide throughout South Africa.

If you would like an order to be delivered as a gift, we can assist you here. Please indicate this in your order and include any personalised message that you would like to send.

 

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

We do our best to ensure the safe delivery of all our products. However, if you receive an item that is damaged, or if it is simply not what you were expecting and you wish to return or exchange it, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel. 

Eclectic Magpie allows for returns in accordance with the provisions of section 20(2) (a) to (d) of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.   

Return of an Unwanted purchase

In order for us to consider a refund on an unwanted purchase, the item must be returned within 14 days and is subject to the following conditions:

Return of defective, damaged or incorrect supplied stock:

Eclectic Magpie warrants all products sold by us to be free of defects at the time of shipping. All new products sold by us are subject to their respective manufacturer or distributor warranty policy and procedures. These are subject to change without our knowledge.

Goods may be returned only when defectivedamaged or if the product supplied is not the same product as that ordered.

Defective: If the goods are defective in any way this must be reported as soon as reasonably possible after the product having been delivered to you and must be returned to us within a period of 3 months after delivery. Prior to returning faulty products, you agree to contact us first so that we can provide you with the necessary details to facilitate the return.

The manufacturer or its official distributing agent will at their sole discretion determine if the repair or replacement can be honoured under the terms of the warranty. Their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Should a product be found to be faulty within 7 (seven) days from having received your delivery, Eclectic Magpie will cover the costs for both the collection and return of the product. This is subject to the manufacturer or its official distributing agent determining that the faulty product can be covered under the terms and conditions of its respective warranty. If not the costs for the collection and return of the product will be for your account.

Incorrect item delivered: If the goods are not what was ordered this must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Damage in transit: Any damage must also be reported, within 24 hours of delivery.

If you are returning Goods via courier or post office please package them carefully so that they do not become damaged en-route. Please include a copy of your original invoice with any return. Eclectic Magpie will not be held liable for goods damaged during shipping back to us.

Eclectic Magpie and its management reserve the right to amend these policies and terms without notification.
